EDAC Aero Rotating Components maintains a self contained, comprehensive engineering capability within the Newington, CT. manufacturing facility. Engineering services are comprised of manufacturing and process planning engineers, turning and milling programmers including extensive 5-axis milling programming capability, tool design and quality engineering.

Prior to committing to a frozen process on new components, our Engineers work closely with manufacturing floor machining technicians to optimize the demands of customer rigid process requirements with the goal of cost effective productibility. After product introduction, the Engineering staff and manufacturing personnel support the specific targeted areas of further process and cost optimization with a systematic, teaming approach in copperation.with our "Continuous Improvement" staff.

Quality Engineering is also part of the overall engineering community to ensure that communication is routine with manufacturing engineering to optimize inspection methods and reduce process variables to improve product throughput while reducing costs.
